patchThe members of the Lacey Township Police Department are proud to announce the promotion of 18 year police veteran Vince Meehan to the position of Police Sergeant. Sergeant Meehan will now serve as a patrol supervisor/shift commander after being formally promoted by the Lacey Township Committee at the Thursday, February 14, 2013, township meeting. Sergeant Meehan has long distinguished himself as a conscientious and very hard worker right from the start of his career in 1995. In his 18 years with the police department, he has never utilized a sick day and has consistently scored #1 on the Police Sergeant exam. Sergeant Meehan is the first promotion within the police department in nearly 8 years and will serve the essential position as a first-line supervisor of uniformed patrol officers. The members of the Lacey Township Police Department congratulate Sergeant Meehan and wish him the best of luck in his new and very challenging assignment.
