Department News – Lacey Township Police Department – Heavy Smoke Conditions Today Due to Brush Fire in Burlington County

Please be advised there will be heavy smoke conditions in the area of Ocean County (Lacey Township) today due to a large brush fire in Burlington County. Please do not call Lacey  Township Police  unless you see flames.

THE POWER HAS BEEN RESTORED IN LACEY TOWNSHIP AND ALL TRAFFIC LIGHTS ARE FUNCTIONING
Today (July 9, 2017)  at 5:30 p.m., Lacey Township experienced a power outage throughout  most of the township. Ocean Township (Waretown) and Barnegat Township also experienced the power outage. Approximately 25,000 combined residents were without power. THE POWER HAS BEEN RESTORED IN LACEY TOWNSHIP AND ALL TRAFFIC LIGHTS ARE FUNCTIONING
Lacey Township has experienced a power outage throughout  most of the township this evening at approximately 5:30 p.m. (Sunday, July 9, 2017). All of the traffic lights throughout the township are out, except for those traffic lights north of Lacey Road on Route 9 (except for Route 9 and Musket). Township News – (Fireworks Event) – The Lacey Township fireworks display is scheduled for this coming Monday, July 3, 2017, at dusk. The event will take place at the Lacey Township High School, located at 73 Haines Street in Lanoka Harbor.
