Weather/Travel Alert – The current weather reports are calling for significant snow fall totals beginning during the day today (Tuesday) and continuing into early Wednesday morning. Given the timing of the impending snow, residents are cautioned to plan appropriately for any afternoon travel. Unfortunately, with the heavier snowfall not expected to begin until the afternoon/early-evening hours, it is likely the roads will be very busy during the first six hours of snowfall with motorists returning home from work, school, and other travel. As with any snowfall, all vehicles must not be parked on the roadways so the DPW plows can properly clear the roads without unnecessary obstructions.
