Suspicious Incident  – On Sunday, July 14, 2013, at 10:40 a.m. a resident of Forked RIver reported a suspicious incident that occurred earlier in the morning at Gille Park. The resident reported that at approximately 8:55 a.m., she and her juvenile daughter were walking in Gille Park near the hockey rink when she noticed a male subject seated inside his vehicle taking pictures of her and her daughter. When she confronted the unknown man, he reportedly drove out of the parking lot and turned left on Manchester Avenue. The driver was described as an older white male, with a large build, sandy grey hair, and wearing glasses. The vehicle he was operating was described as a late model, white, conversion van with a blue stripe on the side. There was a “NY Yankees” tire cover over the spare tire mounted on the back of the van. No other descriptors were available and no other interaction was reported. It is unknown why the man was photographing the two females.
