Trespass/Burglary of Residence – A homeowner of a residence on Basin Road in Lanoka Harbor reported that between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. she left her home for a short period of time, and upon returning home, she entered through the garage and heard a door slam toward the rear of the house. Upon checking the home, she discovered an object that was previously up against the unlocked rear entrance door had been pushed away from the door. The resident was certain someone had been in the house when she arrived home and that the unknown person only fled due to her return home. The resident reported that nothing appeared to be missing at the time. Detectives responded to the scene to further the investigation.
